George Kennedy narrates a film that tries to get from Jupiter to the end of the world by way of ancient disasters, biblical prophecy, survivalists, psychics and a computer simulation. The film says Stelle planned to build 2,000 to 3,000 airships by 1999. I said there hadn’t been a cohesive story. The film kept going, all the way to a prediction of catastrophe around May 5, 2000. At the end I called it a ’10 out of 10 tape’ that ‘made no sense whatsoever.’
