Citizens Protecting America’s Parks is a 13-minute National Parks and Conservation Association membership video. It came in a clamshell case with a membership-mailer back panel and the association’s Washington, D.C. address.
The tape talks about the C&O Canal, includes Robin Winks discussing the parks, and uses a CNN clip about Yosemite closing because of overcrowding. There is also a reference to one of the first female park rangers.
The package calls itself an “80th Anniversary Edition.” The stream notes date it to 1999, though no printed production year has been verified.
