Craig’s notes
I didn’t expect to have this much fun watching a scrolling TV schedule. MetroGuide gave us Columbus access-channel listings, school programming and Arts Festival street closures, with WOSU classical radio playing underneath. I kept reading instead of fast-forwarding. When the information started looping, I reluctantly moved ahead to see what else was on the tape.
The next part was City 3 News from Columbus City Hall. Keith Winter went through hazardous waste, trash cans, road construction and summer events. There was even a Detective Drip Tracer spot. I recognized the little water-saving cartoon because I had watched a longer Drip Tracer tape before. Once the news ended, the channel moved on to city bid listings. I was ready to bid on an asphalt roller, but the tape seemed to end before I got one. I had fun with this one.
