Six hours of Columbus television from late August 1992: WCMH-4 news, the Barcelona Olympics, tennis on NBC and ESPN, General Hospital on WSYX-6, a little C-SPAN, then Wimbledon. The local commercials are the reason to keep watching.
The WCMH news has Ohio State Fair bungee jumping, Dan Quayle refusing to do it, and Ravi Shankar. General Hospital brings the big daytime-ad block. Wimbledon ends with Ivanisevic throwing his racket while viewers fax questions to Xerox Sports Fax. 1992 had interfaces.
