Lost Media
Most Jerry Springer episodes from 1999 are gone. The Lost Media Wiki has active threads on this — the show ran nearly 5,000 episodes total, and only a fraction are documented anywhere. The episode on this tape, “Sex Star Fantasies,” hasn’t been confirmed as archived online. Jenny Jones had similar problems with preservation. The Jenny Jones episode here, “My Family Won’t Stop Calling Me Fat,” is not something I’ve found a verified copy of.
The Columbus local ad block is the other thing. Value City. PCDI — “Get Your High School Diploma at Home.” Plymale and Associates. These were local Columbus buys that don’t exist anywhere online.
About This Tape
The WWF Raw Is War Schottenstein Center promo is genuinely fun. That was peak Attitude Era. Someone in Columbus was going to see Raw live and this tape happened to catch the ad for it.
The Young and the Restless partial at the end is exactly how these tapes go — someone started recording and the tape ran out in the middle of something.
