About the program
John Glenn: American Hero is a PBS Home Video documentary about Glenn’s life, from his Ohio childhood and military flying to his 1962 Mercury flight and years in the U.S. Senate. The program also covers his 1998 return to space aboard Discovery.
The packaging credits KCET and Newsweek Productions and lists a 90-minute running time. It carries a 1998 Warner Home Video copyright. I haven’t watched this copy yet.
