The label is wrong.
According to the catalog notes, what’s actually on here is The Simpsons. With commercials. Which, honestly, might be better. Early Simpsons recorded off broadcast with original commercials intact is exactly the kind of thing the archive exists to hold onto.
About This Tape
This is a Polaroid T-120 recorded at EP speed, which gives you up to six hours of runtime. Condition is Poor. There’s visible discoloration on the tape window — possible mold contamination. This one needs to be inspected before it goes anywhere near a VCR playback head.
The tape came in with no sleeve. Just the cassette. Someone labeled it with two movies they recorded (or meant to record), and the actual contents turned out to be something different. That happens. People recorded over things. Labels got reused. The tape tells a different story than the case.
If the mold assessment is wrong and this plays clean, what we have is a chunk of early Simpsons with original 1990s commercials. That’s the actual prize here — not the movies that may or may not be on here.
