Craig’s notes
This tape had no title written on it. When I put it in, The Waltz came up, and suddenly we were learning to dance. The recording looked rough, which I liked. I caught myself wondering why I was so entranced by a waltz lesson when I don’t even know how to waltz. By then we’d reached the twinkle; the serpentine came later.
The instruction calls this “Waltz 2” and assumes you already know the basics from the first tape. I don’t have that lesson in front of me, so I was behind before we even started. Kathy Blake and Gene Russo’s names came up near the point where I stopped. There’s more to watch, and I don’t know what’s on the rest of this VHS.

- Waltz step names vary by region; the lesson covers the twinkle and serpentine.
