Allstate’s fire safety video asks children to become the Deputy Fire Marshal of their own homes. The sleeve says it’s for kids ages 5 to 8. I suppose someone has to make sure the grown-ups practice the escape plan. I haven’t watched this copy yet, but the sleeve lists smoke detectors, matches and lighters, and what to do in a fire.
On the sleeve
- Be Cool about Fire Safety, an Allstate video for children ages 5 to 8.
- Lessons listed: don’t play with matches and lighters; have smoke detectors on every floor and check them twice a year; don’t hide, go outside; make and practice an escape plan; fall and crawl; stop, drop and roll; know your local emergency number.
- The sleeve advertises a Deputy Fire Marshal kit, activity/coloring book and brochure through Allstate agents.
- Rear sleeve: 1996, color, stereo, 15 minutes. Tape label: 16 minutes and a 1995 marking.
