Excellence on Whitewater is an Appalachian Wildwaters tape about rafting the New River in West Virginia. One side is “Your Day on the Lower New River.” The other is “Family Rafting on the Upper New River.”
The Lower New River itinerary includes a 20-minute bus ride, Jump Rock, lunch by the river, ghost towns, and the outpost after the rafting is over. The family trip is for children. The music is by The Wildwater Band.
There are a lot of banjos. The tape was right about that part.
