The label starts with “Moonlighting,” crosses it out, then lists World Series 7th Game, Family Ties, Falcon Crest, and Easy Rider. That is close enough to a programming guide.
The 1987 World Series Game 7 is here from ABC on Channel 6. Minnesota beat St. Louis 4-2. The Columbus breaks have Spuds McKenzie at Bates Motel, Stroh’s beer, a Don Knotts health plan ad, a Sunny 95 promo, and Channel 6 telling people Mike Raita covers sports.
The rest of the tape moves through the Moonlighting finale, the end of Family Ties, Amerika, and The New Twilight Zone. It also catches WTVN, WSYX, and WCMH continuity, plus Rax, Friendly’s, McDonald’s Changeables, Central Ohio Ford, McSwain Carpets, and a Burger King Croissan’wich ad narrated by Mr. T.
A tape with a World Series Game 7 on it should not also have a local carpet showdown. This one does.
