FernGully and Peter Rabbit on VHS

I could read FernGully and Peter Rabbit on the Kodak tape, and the first recording was indeed FernGully with a Disney Channel subscription number sitting on the picture. I moved through the film rather than watching it all. I was happy to see there were commercials, because the other recording turned out to be The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends on the Family Channel.
At first I worried the Family Channel might give me almost no breaks. Then came Barbie Tag-Along Pets, Clorox, Gerber formula and Hot Wheels Attack Pack. The show itself gave us Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, followed by a promo promising The Tale of Samuel Whiskers on Monday, May 10. I still wanted more commercials than we got. But a tape with a Disney preview subscription bug on one half and an actual Family Channel ad break on the other is a good reason to keep following the recording past the familiar movie.
