A canoe built from plywood and epoxy sounds simple until the lesson gets to lofting, jigs and scarfing. Brookfield Craft Center describes this Thomas J. Hill video as a start-to-finish guide to a one-person lapstrake canoe, right down to painting and varnishing. The label on this copy says over 90 minutes. I can see why you’d want a rewind button before cutting the first plank.
