This Polaroid tape moves between WEWS and WJW from late November into December 1989. It has the AFHV pilot, Julie and Carol: Together Again, One Life to Live, a Muppets television special, News Center 8, Siskel and Ebert, Doogie Howser, All My Children, Regis and Kathie Lee, 20/20, The Home Show, and General Hospital.
The November 26 News Center 8 broadcast includes coverage of Amy Mihaljevic’s disappearance, then still an active search. Elsewhere, Siskel and Ebert review Prancer, Back to the Future Part II, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and Henry V. Regis has Roger Whittaker for Christmas. 20/20 uses Pac-Man graphics for a segment about couples arguing. Television was trying things.
The Cleveland breaks include Hills beginning to accept credit cards, Makro, Lionel Kiddie City, Arslanian Bros., Spitzer, Nick Abraham Buick, May Company, Ames, and a lot of holiday retail. The tape was streamed March 4, 5, and 8, 2026. Several programs are partial, and the source does not establish their availability elsewhere.
