Craig’s notes

I put this tape on hoping for soccer and commercials. The handwritten list started with The Wackiest Ship in the Army, but the recording started with two women making peanut-butter snakes and a blue gelatin fishbowl. I still don't know what show that was.

I fast-forwarded through The Wackiest Ship in the Army, The Big Green and Cinderella looking for breaks. The Disney Channel kept giving me promos instead. There was an American Teacher Awards spot and a Torkelsons promo I had no memory of, then Care Bears and Spot. So much for the soccer plan.

Then Dumbo's Circus came on, and I stayed. I didn't remember much of it, but I liked Lionel the lion's name and got invested in a town so small the circus couldn't find it. For a minute I thought we had found a missing episode. Someone in chat identified Tiny Town as one that was already out there. The copy on this tape looks better than the version already online, though, so I was glad we watched it. The tape ended after a cut-off Adventures in Wonderland bumper, with the cooking show still unidentified.
