Craig’s notes
The label says Thomas Tank, but the trains are only part of this one. I found Road to Avonlea first, then a Thanksgiving episode of Shining Time Station. George Carlin turned up as Mr. Conductor, and I wanted more of that than the rest of the station. There were hardly any commercials. I was disappointed, although I did like the train scenes.
I came back to the tape and fast-forwarded through TaleSpin to see what else was hiding here. I like TaleSpin. I would have worn my shirt if I'd known it was coming. Instead I got a Curious George puppet segment, a fairy tale, the letter F with Nick Jr., and then Bingo. At one point I wondered whether Curious George had been put in an institution.
When I finished the tape, Disney's Quack Attack meter and claymation bumper caught my attention more than the cartoons. Fraggle Rock arrived near the end. I recognized it in two notes and fast-forwarded. The recording ran out soon after.
