I put on a tape labeled for the Clinton-Dole debate and started with Cleveland daytime TV instead. Regis and Kathie Lee turns up, then Morning Xchange, then more Regis before One Life to Live and General Hospital. B.B. King tells a story about his bus breaking down in Louisiana, and the soap breaks come with a lot of 1996 advertising.

There is a Sears grand-opening spot for SouthPark Center, a Hills jingle, and a Duracell ad with those strange animatronic people and a parrot. In the middle of General Hospital, the recording cuts to an Environmentally Sick Schools video and then cuts back. I haven't reached Oprah or the debate yet, so for now those are still just names on the note.
