The Post-it says Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, 8/19/99. The tape does contain Regis Philbin’s Millionaire, but it is not a clean premiere-week set. It is a completed Cleveland television compilation with pieces of Millionaire, WEWS News 5, World News Tonight, Morning Exchange, The View, Oprah, and an Alan Funt memorial segment from Candid Camera.
The local material is why this thing keeps going. Browns stadium coverage. Browns vs. Steelers promos. McDonald’s Browns Bandanas. Cedar Point weather. The Prince of Produce on Morning Exchange. A Cleveland newscast where the Browns, the lottery, and the weather all have business to finish.
The label gave a date. The tape gave Cleveland.
