Journey Through the Alps: Roads to Oberammergau

This 1990 travel tape takes the scenic route through the Alps with Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Handel, and a lot of mountains doing most of the work. It visits Lucerne, Zurich, Salzburg, Munich, Oktoberfest, the Matterhorn, and ends at Oberammergau’s Passion Play.

Nella Schönefeld Productions put it out in a cardboard sleeve. This copy still has a Blockbuster ex-rental sticker dated November 6, 1991. The tape was streamed January 25, 2026. It also includes an early CGI introduction, Eisstockschießen, and a hammer-the-nail game. Tourism was apparently not enough.
