The cassette says “John C Newlan” in marker. That usually means I have to find out what took the place of the movie. In this case, John C. Newlan just wanted everybody to know whose tape it was.
Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein is still here, intact. This is the 1948 film in an MCA clamshell, picked up at the bins in Columbus. The sleeve has some wear and somebody put a $4.99 Half Price Books sticker on it.
John C. Newlan labeled the tape. A rare victory for doing exactly that.
