Craig’s notes

The sleeve said CHILDREN and the tape said Variety. I was hoping for Bozo. More than that, I was hoping for commercials. Instead we got a penguin counting flowery marbles on TLC. I had no idea what I was looking at until the Ready Set Learn bumper came on, followed by Peep and the Big Wide World. The penguin had lost his marbles, but at least we'd found out what kind of tape this was.

Peep's episode was Spring Thing, which I liked. I fast-forwarded looking for an ad, found more learning, and then Harold and the Purple Crayon. Later the tape circled back to Paz and Peep. I kept waiting for a break or even a bumper worth stopping for, but the picture went black before my half-hour timer was up. I thought there might be more recorded farther along the tape, and said I'd check after the stream; the footage we saw ended there. I called it a shorty and put on another mystery tape.
