Scooter Lee Enterprizes made this line-dance reference video with Jo Thompson, identified on the sleeve as a former CMT Dance Ranch host. It teaches forty-nine individual steps, then gives you four beginner dances: Cowboy Charleston, Rita’s Waltz, Electric Slide, and Twist ’em.
The idea is to learn the vocabulary first, then use it in dances later. Serious people probably appreciate that. The stream notes call it very boring, which is also a form of reference.
The cover makes a case for line dancing with a list that includes no partner, no special clothes, and fun for the whole family. It was streamed February 17, 2026.
